You need 5 empire toons at 7* to unlock r2d2.
While you do that farm all the reaistance exept for rey.
You will need 5 jedi, all the jawas 5 First order 5 rebels and 5 scoundrals all at 5* to unlock the mod challanges.
Thats all you really need. Everything else is either a luxury or a waste.
