Are the old Era Battles gone?
Judging by the fact that you're no longer bringing back the old Era Battles, I assume they're finished. But explain to me why you last introduced the Era Battle for Mace, "Arrest Chancellor," before the MJMW event itself? That's so stingy. If you really want to motivate people to level characters to high relics, you don't need to invent Relic Delta. You need to give rewards.
At least partially recoup the costs. What do you do? Tease players with Era Battle right before the Mace event and then immediately remove it from the game.
This is sucha stinginess.
