Uh... You must've gotten very lucky. In the Canadian one, I got up to 87 with an hour to go, thought I had him set, and came back to rank 200 something. And that 87 was the highest I ever got.

Wrong, the money they make from these style events is from making them class specific. With Yoda you have to level up jedi, palp you need rebels with Nihilius it could be sith.

People will pay crystals to power level their toons to have a chance at unlocking nihilius. Either through event specific bundles or straight crystal purchases to gear them.

There is money to be made with these style events.

There is money to be made but nowhere near as much if you don't give out the full 7 star character.. there's even more money to be made if you make people spend to star them up (on top of gearing them and any other characters needed to unlock them).

There is also money to be made by bringing more new players to the game... having a difficult yet f2p obtainable KOTOR toon in the game might be a big draw to KOTOR fans not currently playing (and spending money) on the game

They already have HK who I would argue is more famous

My money is on this being an event like the current one we have with Krennic, free unlock depending on level then sell packs after to finish him off.

The free 7* event would be cool but when you look back they picked the two factions with the most toons at the time, Jedi and rebels. Also when you look at Yoda and Palpatine youy see that Nihilus just isn't on the same level lore wise, a safer bet would be for Revan to get the free 7* event with x faction.

While they do stick many popular characters behind a paywall they do also make the most iconic ones available for free and 7*: Yoda, Palp, Han, General Kenobi and Vader

Im confused. Is this post saying its not a tournament, or just hoping?

Which pact? The 1 for krennic & dt? It'll prob be 600... but current ship is a good deal for 3000 if you only buy the 1 pact. And they'd have to add a bunch of stuff in order to sell a new sith pact for 3k...
