The overall strategy hasn't changed, just the stats of everything. So if you dig up old threads or ask people who did it before, those strategies and characters should still work, as long as they have mods.

I have been avoiding redoing my mods but this event sounds like it will force me to fix them.

@Toukai - I get what you're saying my man, for sure. However, with the direction it's going, I'm more than happy and I look forward to playing the events. I take a look at where we as a community were and where we are now and it's light years different in just a few updates. I'm choosing to be an optimist until otherwise.

That's heavy... and honestly I would probably feel that way, if I hadn't called and talked to someone over at support about the mods changes and subsequent nerfs. They had me on the phone for hours though and made me feel like I hadn't wasted my time or energy... so I guess I know that they care. Like they honestly realize the mod thing was botched up and all the new updates have shown they are trying to earn back the lost trust.

I guess I wanna see the good, rather than the potentially bad outcomes.

I'm still cautious though. >.> I'm watching you wazowski... always watching.

I do agree. this whole... extra credits events and give-aways is begging to feel like... like... not scorn for the player base? I'll wait for a few big updates before I turn this frown upside down.
