How I read it, she's now WAI.  Basically, she's only been nerfed to work how she was intended.  She still does all the same stuff before, but only on an Old Republic team.  Before she was released, this is how we expected her to work.

Yes, not seeing the issue and releasing her 'broken' is annoying and typically CG.  However, what would be more annoying is leaving her as she was.  We've gained a whole new team 'OR Jedi' and have new interesting mechanics to use with them.  Imagine in 3v3 the number one defensive team being Rey, Ezra and Stella Shandy.  Not how any of the 3 were intended.  Jedi datacrons making the team even more broken.  There'll always be a datacron somewhere to use with them, seeing how versatile the team is with tags and skills.

Nice guy Ben also becomes redundant; a top Conquest unit left signing on for his money every other month.  We lose the OR Jedi team CG just spent a lot of effort creating.  We get even more frustrated with Rey and can no longer use UFUs against her in any shape or form.  That's 2 paragraphs of suckage in my opinion.

As long as the situation is as I understand it, the game is in a much better place with this update.

So with Ezra under Rey lead it was basically just SLKR could win if you look at the data with anyone else but Ezra that same team loses to Leia, QA, Cere with SK and Malicos. Suddenly ads 3 more consistent counters odd… but the problem was SS huh maybe if they look at the data they will see that when Rey is broken it is always because Ezra enables it.

Nerf ≠ locked to her intended team.

The theorycrafting is less, but Rey doesn’t need to be even stronger. All they changed was reliance on OR allies, nothing about what the abilities do has changed.

In other words, get over it.

Not a can not beat. They nerfed a new character because Ezra broke it with Rey again. Maybe stop defending CG and saying everything is a “skill issue” because the issue with Rey “breaking” stuff for the past two years has always been because Ezra Exile allows it by being a top 3 Tank,healer and prob a top 5 non Gl on dealing damage who also is immune to out of turn attacks and gets resilient defense stacks like it is candy to tank and a locked in no buffs gain on a target enemy for the rest of the fight all well being a “support”. If you want to defend CG it is why the game is losing players and you see more high end accounts being posted for sell because they have 0 clue how to balance this game.

Or the simple answer nerf Rey’s leader ability to be resistance or UFU only. Then these new Ls characters being abusable by Rey suddenly does not happen…

Well I sort of agree.  However, Ezra makes whatever team you put him on groovy.  Whether he's on Tano, Rey (or in rare cases Kenobi) he makes 'that' the team to beat.

I'll argue though that in 5v5 she's still very beatable by chest-guy and A-lister friends (maybe less so since him and 'Pull it out of the sky-guy' broke up).  However, I still use UFUs over SLKR in 5v5.  This last 3v3 season (even before Stella Shandy) she's been a real handful with Ezra for me, I must admit.

I think the fact that having Stella in the team totally destroys their new toy (OR Jedi), whereas Spectre still work pretty well without 'has had a hard life on the streets-Ezra' is quite a difference.  Also, it's 'quite' nice that Rey's versatility is keeping her relevant way after SEE and JML started cashing in their pension cheques.

Ok the only reason it was an issue was because of Rey leader ability and Ezra exile. You realize she was a potential JML lifter for crafting to beat other teams right. All this does it guarantee JML stays dead since he won’t have JKR anymore.

if they nerf Ezra exile to have to have a Spctre leader then SS is not nearly as strong with Rey in GAC. Or if they make Rey’s leader ability require all allies to be UFU or Resistance then it still leaves SS and Ezra not being able to be broken by Rey but still able to be used on other Jedi teams. 

SEE still works well the issue is bane kills stuff with See so your pulling away another offense team. TBH SS could have been a way good JML lifter since without JKR, JML is a lot worse. My issue is they never address the real issue and that is restrict Rey or Ezra and tbh Ezra makes a lot more sense to restrict to Jedi or to Specter. The other is it makes SS not usable on D at all since great mothers can target her with Doom first turn and completely roll old republic Jedi from their. So we either need 2 brand new old republic Jedi one being as strong as Ezra is for her to be usable on D or we need her to get immunity to protection disables
