Compared to other events, this is probably one of the easiest farms for veteran players seeing as most uave had these toons unlocked and 7 starred for ages. And most of them are probably even at g12. The timing of it is trash but at the end of the day if we got this instead of stupid galactic legends then everything would be awesome. Although I dont really see the pount in gearing hoda or c3p0 that high because what stats do they need that you can't easily just mod onto them? They are both usually stealthed anyways

Ya but how long ago did Chewie and C3P0 come out? Then when they did there was a ton of complaining on here about how difficult it was and RNG dependent. That’s because players were wanting to go in and have an easy time with under geared chars. OMG they are releasing a char that can’t be gotten with a few swipes of a credit card let’s all revolt because they are making us play the game. I do understand the frustration of not having anything new to play IN the game and feel it also. Have said it before about the Stun Gun bottle neck that keeps us from getting a bunch of chars to g12 still. Along with older chars needing a power boost. But to complain about the requirements for this one ... MEH.

The only one I have a gripe with is Wampa. I’ve been stashing GET currency for Malak and GAS. I just finished Malak and am just about 6* for GAS. I either have to wait significantly longer than I’d like to in order to get JKL or hold off on GAS for a while. Realistically, I can’t get both in the next 6 months, and that sucks because it’s out of my control. I can’t farm them any other way, so even if I put all my resources into every other character and have them ready next go around, I’ll be stuck on Wampa

You can farm 20 shards of wampa in Galactic bounty, it’s not much but make it a little easier

Yeah that’s where I do it. I’m at 40/85 at 5* so doubt I’m gonna get there though

For the first time? Not, second? Maybe, depends on how your guild do in TB and your malak/GAS farm. Third? Probably. As a f2p unlock at the second or third is normal. Of course that with crystals you can by refresh from the event and can speed up the farm. But it’s not that bad, the timing is very bad.

Actually not to far ... won’t get JKL this time because I started Hoda a bit late.

In the 3 years I have been playing, I have spent about 300. So not much of a spender, I didn’t feel like chasing after Rey or SLKR, and it had been awhile since Rebels were on top of Meta or gotten some love and even longer for Empire. I chose to ignore the GL and was hoping to get a jump on next set of GL which I was thinking would be Luke/Vader about 6 more months down the line from now.

Even if I hadn’t done that I wouldn’t be upset by the requirements. Getting a char on second or third time is pretty much on par for those of us non-whale/Kracken.

On top of that, at best this char is going to be a soft counter and not a meta shift. So it’s not a big deal to have to wait on him.

At R3 the usefulness of ROLO(L) CHS(I used to call it CHOLO but ok) and lando will be the same as the garbage resistance in a zfinn team. The toons aren’t a problem, the gear isn’t a problem. The real problem is timing. But this forum complains about everything.

when i relic my CHS and Lando I will let you know. Have no idea how they are as I have not used them relic'd yet and need to mod them. i am sure they will be able to beat an OR team with Carth or possibly take on a trooper team, who knows. Assuming they won't be useful is what is annoying as no one has tried them yet. Same was said about the vets and I'll tell you they are good at r3 and I played an R7 scoundrel team with vets R7 and SOlO movie toons r5 and I almost lost as I underestimated them. They took out my r7 Nest with R5 Nute, Dooku, r3 droideka and r5 jengo. Jengo was lone man standing in the red health.
