Odd Mod Question/Help
Or maybe not, but I figured since many of you have been here a lot longer it may not seem so unusual.
Has anyone ever run into a situation where they added a mod to a character that seems to be better in terms of stats, but that it actually translated into a worse outcome in battle? In my case, I fitted a character with a lvl 15 mod that had the same primary stat (defense) but clearly improved all other the other secondary stats the mod that was swapped out (potency, speed and protection) by a good margin. The only negative impact was a very slight drop in physical damage. But ever since I used that mod on my toon (TFP), it's been pretty bad. I tested it in arena with the same top few players in my shard and the outcome was the same for every battle. It almost seems like the extra speed or some other factor kicked the battle order around in a way that was disadvantageous to my team, considering I had no problem beating them prior to this supposedly better mod.
Just wondering if this was a common issue, and regardless, if anyone else noticed that a supposed improvement on paper actually leads to worse results in battle.
Note: When I replaced the old mod back, I got the same consistent favorable results as before. It was a pricey test but I was able to replicate the previous results consistently.
