Omega rewards in lvl 8 of cantina

Why is it I never get any omega rewards from cantina lvl 8 matches when it shows they are the 2nd reward listed and yet they are never awarded despite the incredible amount of cantina energy and crystals for refreshes spent on that tier. Now I understand the primary rewards at that lvl are valuable toon shards and now relic mats but you don't get shards for every battle, but I would expect to at least get an omega mat as compensation for not getting a shard but omega payouts are basically non existent, is there something that could be done about this?

    Now explain why I'm not getting double drops on my hard nodes ?

    The drop rate on omegas must be well below 1%

    I 7*ed GBA without getting a single omega

    Many others 7* their vets and reported 1 omega if they were lucky. There's been lots of threads about this, but despite oldtimers saying look it up you can't because of the limitations of the search function.
    In short, pretend that you will never see an omega from cantina farming.
    Be grateful if you do.
