Online web store, why?

Was there anyone who actually asked for this?, I know plenty has asked for and including myself would like to see a PC useable version of SWGOH either as a stand alone or browser accessed, doing away...

Not that I think the webstore is a good idea, but the people working on the webstore are 100% not the people that are supposedly working on fixing the game crashes. Should the art team just stop doing anything at all until the crashes are fixed as well?

I agree with most of this - but out of curiosity, why is the webstore not a good idea?

It's not a *bad* idea per se, it's just not a good idea either. I'm indifferent. I'll link my account and get the free stuff and move on with my life. I also have no issues with giving CC info through that method, as that's how it worked way back in the Lords of Ultima days and it was always fine and afaik no one had issues with payments or payment disputes.

Imagine if they move the GC crates to the webstore, so you have to login to that to claim the box. I wouldn’t put it past CG to do something like this.

What possible reason would there be to have any free, in-game items require the webstore?

“Imagine” is not the slam dunk you think it is.

To get you to look at all the packs as you scroll to get your crate. Remember when the bronziums were at the very end of the packs? Same concept. MSF is currently doing it, why wouldn’t CG?
