First O66 crate is at 10mln. 10mln/50=200k. If your guild can't crack a 200k average score, you must be in a really tiny guild. 200k is nothing. Scoring 200k across 5 teams should be possible to do when you're actively trying to fail. Perhaps you should stick to the Naboo raid. Or HSTR. Better to get some rewards from a legacy raid than 0 rewards from the new one.
The nature of games like SWGOH is that very new players shouldn't expect to be able to engage with end-game content right away, and if your guild can't scrape 10mln together, you guys must be an early-game guild.
For the record I am not a new player and have 9 million GP it's just Jedi, we're not my focus neither was Tarkin or nest. If this raid was a rebel raid I would be dominating it for my gNest.
I stopped playing a long time ago and when I came back I found so much had changed between relics, GLs and so much more that I quickly doubled down on JMLS, Rey, SLKR, Leia, Jabba. Thus my focus was on those for the longest, I thought recently to shift to Seev but decided I wanted to focus on Darth Revan and GAS.
As for my guild it has many members who do at least 200k, but others are very casual and aren't doing that much. We have one member who did 3 plus million. Yet we still are 2 million short.
It really all comes down to the teams, you either have them or you don't. If someone focused on jedi vanguard great for them. But to post a thread to tell people to stop complaining about it being a giant money grab is just wrong.
The fact of the matter that the Pirate faction is in this raid is stupid. They could just as easily put empire characters or even Cal Kestis. At the very least these would make more sense and are characters that have been around a bit longer.
Cal may not have been at the temple but he survived order 66 as did Cere. Yet Hondo who has no part in the darn thing is apart of this raid.
Also keep in mind some people play these games to have fun and want to level up their favorite characters which are probably not used in this raid.
As an officer of my guild I am certainly not going to be kicking people because they scored less than 200k.
We will run the Naboo raid next time while me and a few other get Nest Hondo and Tarkin relicd up. So instead of complaining about people complaining this post could have been one to idk help people see strategies that help maximize their points without complaining about people not being able to do the raid.

That's why CG picked these characters and factions. They look at numbers based on what characters are the lowest built, how many are low relic, not relic'd, etc. In this case they also added in a new faction to make it even more annoying and push us to build new characters and teams. It's not done by coincidence, it's based on numbers. Same for GLs. They find characters that aren't worked on, along with new ones to make us farm and/or spend money to get. Hondo worked with an ughnaught in Rebels, I'd bet we'll need to get ughnaught to R3 or R5 as a requirement. Why? Because it's not a character players work on, and there's an excuse to include him in "something" to get players to burn resources on ughnaught. Same for raids.

Y'all keep calling this a giant money grab as if CG didn't tell us weeks in advance which teams factions would be eligible for the new raid. They said very clearly: new Bad Batch, Jedi Vanguards, Tarkin with Dark Side Clone Troopers. You had weeks to work on these toons to get ready for the raid. We had the same advance warning. I used this time to build up the new Bad Batch. I already had a bunch of JV at G13 previously, so I worked on the new team that was farmable. Now I'm done with the Bad Batch squad and I'm putting high relics on JVs.
You had time to prepare for the raid, but it's easier to complain, so keep doing that, I guess.

If I'm reading the other comments correctly, the general sentiment is:
- The new required characters are garbage.
- People are tired of having to rush for garbage characters that aren't good at GAC, TW, Conquest or even the new raid.
- R9 is clearly a cake walk for max scores due to the modifier at R9.
- R7 and R5 in the raid are an up at dawn, day after day, for at least a year, pride swallowing siege.
- That creates the circle of strife that we need to get R9 garbage characters just to keep our resource income consistent with previous raids.
- I'll add my own observation - I don't recall as much complaining about the GL Leia rush. GL Leia made people feel rewarded for their time and money. This new ERA crap is pure, unadulterated garbage.

"Mace is garbage, waaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhh!!1!"
Every new legendary goes through a cycle of people complaining it sucks, then it people figure out how best to use it and it suddenly doesn't suck anymore.Clones are garbage? They've elevated LV to the top echelon of GLs and in 3v3 you can split them into 2 very strong defense teams.
New Bad Batch are designed as a 5 man squad so obviously they're suffering atm in 3v3, but I've seen footage of them beating QA in 5v5. If they're a QA counter, they don't suck.
JV apart from Mace and his crew have a lot of overlap with the GR Jedi that were eligible for the Naboo raid, so that's a gimme. KBeq with Jocasta are the core of a well-performing raid team that doesn't require Mace, TG or Depa.

Telling us which toons will be important doesn't matter if the toons aren't farmable. That's the problem.
Well, that's the problem from MY perspective. Other ppl are complaining about other things.

You forgot to mention the two pirate teams we can use for the raid! Oh, wait...
