“LV? By your logic, it would be LV vs LV, which doesn’t make sense”
Yes and it makes so much more sense for Hondo Ohnaka and his band of pirates to be fighting them. I remember so well in Episode 3 when all the pirates, season 3 bad batch and tarkin came down to rescue the Jedi from their execution.
Also DS clones are allowed, and they’re fighting DS clones…so that’s already out the window. May as well put in a GL that makes sense for the raid. If not him then Kenobi. Or maybe there could be a distinct DS and LS version of the raid kinda territory battles for Hoth and Geonosis. LS is the raid as is, and DS is trying to kill the Jedi with clones or any imperial units that would make sense for the time. That’s just spitball, feel free to hate if you want. But either way if DS clone troopers can fight DS clone troopers then it doesn’t make sense already and may as well throw in the GL that had an actual role in Order 66 instead of some randos who weren’t apart of it at all.
“I always laugh when I see this. NS + JKA paper zombie cheese in HSTR P3. CLS in AAT. SLKR in CPit. ”
Hey man you know what’s crazy? Everyone was allowed in these raids. It was like this until the Krayt Dragon raid, where CG then decided to only allow certain units that were relevant to the lore. If everyone was allowed in Order 66, I imagine very few people would complain about the reqs, since you can use literally anyone. People complain about the reqs now because CG is limiting who you can use. But the basis they are using to limit these units make absolutely no sense at all, except to be a cash grab.
I’ll definitely agree that if you watch guides, mod effectively and have a decent team, the raid isn’t that hard. I am just disappointed by such a cool idea for a raid being squandered by these absurd reqs and I imagine a lot of people feel that way and don’t want to invest in raid teams for that very reason.
