P1 HAAT solo complete without retreats (video added)

Probably not the first time this has been done but I hadn't seen anyone else using this team so I thought I would share. Hope it helps people out.

The team is:

  • Teebo Lead - for TM reduction
  • CLS - for speed down, buff immunity, tenacity down and TM reduction
  • First Order Officer - for TM reduction and for calling teebo and CLS to assist for TM reduction
  • Old Ben - for evasion down and his two non attacking specials
  • Barris - heals and cleanse


Possible substitutions:

  • Bodhi would be much better than old ben in that slot, but mine is not geared.
  • Pretty much any healer with a non damaging special works for Barriss. Ewok Elder, CI, or Lumi for example
  • edit: as mentioned below in the comments, Hera could work for FOO.


The annoying part about this team is you need to keep track of how many hits you have put on GG. Every 7th hit HAS to be a TM reduction ability, or he takes a turn. Here is the screenshot near the end:



Sorry, no screenshot with the damage totals right now, this is a preloaded team, I can't drop the damage on our raid for a few hours.

Here is the damage totals. Note that this is actually about 95%. Someone dropped a little early damage so it was all that was available. CLS is alive because I escaped him for a P3 Solo.

    There is no marker. I just count. You make a mistake, GG gets a turn.

    Looked like only 1 turn for 20% so looks like you've got this counting biz sorted!! :smiley:

    Yup, sadly you can't count to avoid resists.

  • Would chirrut be a well enough substitute over barriss if I don't have her? Or is cleanse not gonna be consistent enough?

    There are a couple of things you need for this strategy to work:
    - Buff immunity on GG. Non negotiable. Needs to be there
    - Lots of TM removal
    - ability to either clear or ignore taunt so you can do TM on GG with add's still up

    Luke does all of these things. In addition, it is nice to have
    - tenacity down
    - evasion down
    - speed down / other slowing mechanism like fracture.

    Luke does 2 of these 3 things.

    If you look back a few months ago at Josh_K's attempt at this, he tried to get a lot of those things with other characters. HE was unable to pull off the solo with a better roster and better mods than basically anyone can dream of. His best attempt was 60% or so, and this was before Jyn was made to not work in this phase. So while it is theoretically possible without Luke, he really is tailor made to work in this phase and trivialize it. That was my first thought upon seeing his kit. It really just checks all the P1 boxes.

    Totally doable with Thrawn. See the video from Johnni above. However, then you waste Thrawn, who is a beast in P3 as opposed to FOO, who is not needed anywhere else. That is the real beauty of this team. Only CLS has a use anywhere else, the other 4 characters barely need gear and have no other real use.

    Don't forget that you can escape Luke and run him in another phase.
