We use the coin to acquire Era Currency and Era upgrade materials that allow us to upgrade the coin, which means better scores in Coliseum, which means more materials, which means progressing in the Coliseum and so on. And after 3 months, the coin joins the rest of the coin collection and we can use it other game modes.

Honestly I would have just bought passes each month for the whole thing had I known.  Thats 60 bucks for them.  But now I'm 20 in for the one pass and would need to spend another 70 on top of that, and still miss out on the rewards from the first pass.  Nah they can go pound sand for that.

imagine if i gave you a coin without saying anything to use. If you had this coin for 3 months without beeing able to use it, would you consider it useless or not?

that's excactly my point. The communication and marketing system, simply does not exist.

I'm really pissed about them not being clear about Maul unlock requirements and rewards.  I would have bought the pass last month had I known, but the droid LST at the end of the road wasn't worth it for me so I passed on it.  I got the pass this month, and now I have the decision on whether or not to spend more to just get Luke to 4 star, I know I definitely wont spend for IG.  Probably wont spend for either one to be honest.  My options are to spend 2600-3900 crystals or spend 30 bucks in order to get the 15+ shards required.  Yeah, It's not gonna happen.  It's so much more expensive at this point than it would have been to buy the pass if CG had communicated at ALL

Another person who thinks unlocking Conquest units on day 1 takes spending money. You do you, dude. I'll keep killing Rey with Stranger, having spent the enormous sum of 0 money on unlocking him. 

It's an amusing turnaround from 2 months of posts and Discord conversations about how Era marquees are useless because they're limited to the Era system for 3 months. 

The Marquee Characters previously played a part in the Galactic Challenges. If you were a free to play gamer, then you could miss out on some potential rewards. I do not see this as much different in that regard. Yes, it does mean that I will be behind other players. But that is always the case. I am now facing people with high relic The Stranger. I am months away from unlocking him. But that isn’t unfair as such. They may have spent money, foolishly in my humble opinion, to gain an advantage. But it is their money.

For a new player you think it's not important be able to get 2 lsts? If i have already spent 1000 dollars then maybe i wouldn't mind 

I'm enjoying how the datamined images showing LSTs in Maul event rewards are making people lose their minds over not having 4* marquees.
