Phoenix is rather easy to beat. Maybe explain yourself better.

Yes i'm talking about facing them.

Mainly in PVP In the Arena

If for you it's easy to kill, congratz, but the reality is that it is not easy to beat them.

it's toxic and not balanced, period, you must be blind to not see it.

Go face a Phoenix squad with the same galactic power than your oponent and you will see how badly your team will end.

What’s your ally code? Maybe your mods are worse than your opponent’s mods?

GP isn't nearly as important as matchup knowledge. If you go into the desert with a fish and expect it to do well, you're going to have a bad time.

Phoenix, as always, gets hurt by daze. The addition of Rex just made daze even better against them.

Like most teams, they don't like buff immunity, healing immunity, shock, or blind.

There are plenty of options to beat them.

They are not toxic, they just have swarm synergy which exists with many other teams (Geos, Moth Rebels, even Imp Troopers).

If you're in a position where you get this upset to a team like Phoenix, this might not be the game for you. There are far worse monsters out there (like Malgus).

There's really no reason to nerf Phoenix when they just buffed the squad with Captain Rex's inclusion. Does that make it a very strong early game team? Yes. Are there still tons of free to play non-GL teams that beat it? Also yes. 

Attached is a screenshot from the SWGOH.gg  counters page. I used a 'non GL' filter and all these are perfectly reasonable teams to be working towards in the early game that also have a 100% win rate against Phoenix. GL Sith Eternal Emperor is also a 2 man 100% win rate if that happens to be your first GL farm since his requirements dovetail with many other early game legendary and fleet farms. 

It would also be helpful to give context rather than just complain. What team are you running? What are you farming/working towards? This game isn't CoD where you cue up every match able to beat anything. You need to have a long term plan and work towards it, farm and use appropriate mods, etc.

1st screen, power difference, yet, they beat me.
They are maxed 8 star but with **bleep** gear, no or **bleep** mods, no or **bleep** upgrade on their abilities.

Next screen, all his team had trash mods lvl 1 like that.

Next screen, my team.

So a basic duel against that team is : 

vador play 1st, i do damage, they lose their shields, some go to 60% hp around there.
Then it's their turn.
They go back to full life and destroy my whole team, turn 2.

What is your ally code? We can look at your roster and see if you have a better counter to phoenix.

Also, your mods need to be at level 15 to get set bonuses (when the lines change from blue to orange, you get a boost)

But their mods are lvl 1 dude xD ..........

I just did another fight this morning, since ALL the arena encounter are Phoenix team btw, and i managed to 1 tap one of their phoenix allies. Lucky crit with vador, but then it was over, even with 1 member of their team down.

can't see your info but at a glance, it's just not a very strong team to take on a rex/phoenix.   with no rex, yes.  but you really don't have anything on your Empire team to stop the onslaught.  

 it's often strategy over galactic power. for example, a lower gear sith trio can often beat a full team of 5 geos. a single wampa (omnicron) can sometimes  beat gas, grievous , and other teams.  low gear gungans or iden can slaughter some relic teams.  in every case, there's a huge gp difference.  it's a matter of countering abilities.  like Pokémon lol a water creature could probably beat a stronger fire monster (I'm not a poke expert)

it allows for variety. that way the same teams don't dominate every single mode like tb,tw,gac, etc. 

I do understand your frustration.  I'm a lil under 12 mil gp. I could not imagine starting over with limited team options and long grinds just for one team. unless you whale or become super efficient those are just the dues. 

I sometimes lose to much lower Gp's because they outplay me on defense. but usually because rngeezus abandons me

I would use Emporer for lead, not Vader for your SA team.

Also, you would do better if you worked on getting 5 or 6 dot mods.  These (taken from EP) are not helping you.
