please give us a way to use our excess gear

Dear @EA_Jesse, @CG_CapGaSP and @CG_Kozispoon,

I know that this issue have been posted like a million times, but since it's still the number one flaw of this game it's worth another post.

Since the ability to sell gear was removed everyone is just piling up gear that will never ever be used. We spend time, energy and, some of us, real money to do battles, challenges, events etc. but about 2/3 of the gear we get can't be used in any way. That just don't seem fair and it's most centainly not good gameplay.

Therefore we need some way to use all the gear we have earned. Since credits are always needed we could get the ability to sell gear again, however I would much rather see some kind of crafting/exchange instead.

As many have pointed out before me, the ability, for example, to change 20 pieces of mk I into 1 mk II and so on would be a great way to let us use the gear we have earned. Another option could be a form of shop where for example 1 full stun cuff would cost 500 purple gear.

I don't think implementing this would make you as developers lose alot of money either. Sure people would be able to get some gear they might have bought in shipments but when you need 2000 stun cuffs the crafting/exchange would just be a drop in the ocean. Instead letting us use the gear we've earned is a gesture of good faith that would be much appreciated by the community and we might even be more willing to grind toons in the shipments if we know that there's a chance of actually levelling them.

I don't know if you read all the posts but I sure hope you will take this under consideration. We as players and a community would be most grateful if this could be made reality :)

On a side note I'm really looking forward to some dark side focus in February. Exciting updates ahead :)

Cheers,
Daniel (Hallonfoster)
  • When this game was released it had a way to sell gear. The option gave us a way to keep our inventory at realistic levels and to help cover the excessive amounts of credits needed.

I would suggest reinstating the sell function but I'm sure that won't happen because we spend more gemstones that way.
