Please, make the mod loadout cap bigger

I'm begging you. I can't switch mods around for the raid the moment because I've met the limit but there are officially no more mods to sell.

I'd be fine with CG attempting some solution. I'm not dead set on the idea of giving players more loadouts, that's just the most straightforward, brute force solution.

    Fully agree with this EXCEPT...

If they added a snapshot feature where you could save all your current mods' positions, then you wouldn't need a separate load out for each individual toon's default mods and you could use your load outs only for the custom mod sets you've created for specific missions.

Then you could cut the load out cap in half and still be fine. 25 raid-specific load outs, 5 Reva load outs, 2 for Cere/JKCK. Save your GLs as a backup in case you mess up and snapshot at the wrong moment when a GL's mods are somewhere else. That's not even 50. And it would be so much easier for players to find what they need.

So from my point of view, I'd rather they left the load out cap alone and added a snapshot feature.

BUT if they don't add snapshots, then, sure, they absolutely have to add more load outs. It's a real problem that has to be addressed one way or another.

Unassigned inventory is fine. Loadout cap is absolutely too low. 200 loadouts for over 300 characters is not fine. It hasn't been fine since the moment there were 200 characters in the game.

  • Sounds like you want the inventory cap to be made bigger, not the loadout cap. There is no reason for the devs to increase the inventory cap, because no matter what they made it, players with insufficient mod management routines will constantly hit that cap.

Every single one of these threads always features someone whose mods are not very good insisting that their mods are so good they couldn’t possibly sell any of their unused 500 mods, and people whose modding is superior telling them the loadout cap is fine as it is.

“Officially no more mods to sell”? That I doubt. If you shared your ally code perhaps those with more efficient modding routines could help you.
