RNG is not the same as strategy, which is what you're making it out to be. Are there strategies to counter the datacron? Absolutely yes. Does it still require a coin-toss amount of RNG to pull off? Also yes. There's a reason it's the best defensive Datacron in GAC, and not for lack of counters.
