Where we have a fundamental difference of opinion is that you seem to feel entitled to that payout, whereas I think the best prizes should go to the best players with the best teams and the best strategy.....

If OP has a legitimate shot at ranking higher, why should he run up against a wall of.colluding cheaters?

I don’t feel entitled to anything. The best prizes under your proposal will go to the player that successfully blocks someone else from taking the spot within 5 minutes of their payout, regardless of strategy, team comp, etc. It will be ALL about the refreshing.

That's a viable strategy.... But that's only going to happen for top 5 spots..... And there is nothing stopping you from doing the same thing....

You’re advocating for a system where refreshing success is of greater importance than squad comp or strategy. This is the very clock-blocking (which you just called a viable strategy) that has been decried on this thread.
