Policy clarification request: private read-only SWGOH Comlink use
EA Help confirmed that this is not an account-support request and advised that the Capital Games / SWGOH development or platform team responsible for API and tooling policy is the appropriate authority. EA Help then directed me to the public forums.
I am not asking for a policy exception, repository review, account assistance, or permission to automate gameplay. I am asking whether the following exact read-only use is permitted under EA/Capital Games policy:
- private, non-commercial, single-user roster planning for my own SWGOH account;
- self-host SWGoH Comlink v4.5.0 locally;
- query only player-visible/read-only data by ally code, without account login;
- use only /player, /data, /localization, /metadata, and service-health endpoints;
- perform no account write, gameplay action, battle automation, purchase, client modification, credential/session capture, or private-inventory access;
- identify the application truthfully and limit traffic to at most one request per second, normally one roster refresh per day;
- store the resulting roster snapshot locally for personal analysis and planning.
Is this exact self-hosted, read-only, no-login use of SWGoH Comlink permitted by EA/Capital Games?
If it is not permitted, please say so and I will not enable it. If this forum cannot provide an authoritative determination, please identify the official channel that can. Please also distinguish an official EA/Capital Games policy answer from community guidance.
