I understand that it takes funding to run a game like this. I've thrown in $30-40 a year, which is the value of the game to me.
Forcing players to fork over $20 a month to stay on pace is absolutely ridiculous. I did a cost comparison to other f2p games. World of Warcraft, for instance, has at most a $15 per month subscription, with $12-13 being sufficient. For a game at that level, I understand paying that much, but $20 a month, or more, is way over the top.
I'm only staying on for my guild and in hopes that EA will recognize the error of their ways. This level of price gouging is nuts.
