this "game" is so unbelievably predatory it should be criminal. new update just adds more predatory elements to a game that was already the most predatory "game" ever created.
its so in your face now... anything you do in the game you get little notifications making you think you just earn a reward... then you go look. oops, everything is locked behind multiple paywalls. need season pass, need ultimate pass, need to go buy character shards to progress. you all should be in jail.
They kill it more and more.... 9 years... yeah.... let's kill the game cause we are dumb and we like it to pissed up the community... it's the best way to say we don't care about the community....
You know you can just... not buy these things?
This is one of the best mobile games out there for an FtP player. You can get almost everything without paying just by waiting (and it was literally everything in the game until the very recent addition of PtW datacrons, which I am against). You don't NEED the shiniest new toy, you can just wait and get it when it's farmable
And as for the changes we're seeing in the game today, it's day one. I'll wait until at least three or four days before I get out my pitchfork
I agree that we should wait until this whole thing plays out but it's definitely a new low for CG. It just feels like that give us rewards for our effort but then hold those rewards hostage behind a paywall. You don't even get a single reward chain from the character path before they try and shake us down for more money. Leaves a bad taste.
Yeah I tend to wait till character shards are farmable ,I'm determined I'm going to get a galactic legend the hard way it's slow but will be worth it,I've been playing for around ten years they need to change up the shards in the store more often it's the same old since it began almost
Did you ever play Diablo Immortal it is way more predatory than this game. Just saying
that's why I didn't play it
