prestige tokens and capital ships question

I forget, to be honest, but I remember someone saying they were saving 2000 for the next capital ship, which, at the time, would turn out to be Chimaera.

But given how capital ships unlock now, 2000 is excessive because there will be a long stretch between stars. What I'd recommend is that if you have 2000, you're good and never need to spend arena tokens on more. By the time you get the fifth star you'll be back up to 2000 from just challenges and events. I'm sitting at 3100 now and haven't bought any prestige in over a year.
