Price point of items in the store

I am so curious, is anyone playing this game paying upwards of $50 - $100 on in game items? I would just like to know where they get the prices for these things...nothing in this game is ever worth $100 or even $50, especially with how long of a grind it is to even get to the end game. An entire AAA game for console or PC is less than a lot of the items in the store. EA greed to the max. I just started playing again and am quickly realizing why I stopped.

Also why do they make it **bleep** near impossible to get C3PO? I shouldn't have to replay this event 1,000x and still fail when my req chars are at or above the required power level. For instance, why is there a req power level and then a recommended power level? It's one or the other. 

This game does get Star Wars, however they do so many things wrong for every 1 thing they get right. I want to like this game, I want to play it, but not with a part time job time commitment and hundreds of dollars every month to keep up.
