I'd rather they just get rid of a single snapshot payout time and make it a true arena competition with everyone. Maybe make it a "tick" based system. Every 15 minutes (or whatever time frame you want) you get points for your current rank. After 24 hours you get paid for your rank for all the points you've accumulated and it starts all over again.
