QOL Grind Relief

With the addition of relics along with the continued deepening of rosters, are we able to get any relief on the drop rates? I toss in $20 for crystals maybe twice a month just to do more node farming, and I'm still way far behind. Been playing since just after release... that says something about how stingy the drops are.
