First, the quest rewards are terrible. I'm fairly sure I'll never finish even one, but I'm leaving Sith Agent open b/c who knows, right? I abandoned Jedi. It's worse than worthless.
........That's the entire point. As detailed in, like, seven thousand other threads of people saying "I don't want to do this," the entire point is that
you don't have to do it. It's
intentionally designed that you can skip all of the title quests if you don't think they're worth your time or effort. If you want to do them because you want the title, then you can do it at your own pace.
If the rewards were good, everyone would do them and then two things would happen:
1) The titles would be common and mean nothing because everyone has them.
2) Everyone would complain about being forced to grind to get those important rewards.
This is the perfect balance. The challenges are really pretty easy if you want to do them, they just take some patience and occasionally lateral thinking (ie: Finding the node with a bunch of Imperial enemies so you can get it done as quickly as possible, or finding the right gear on the node so that doing it is rewarding) but also the material rewards are irrelevant enough that you don't miss out on anything by skipping them.
For real, folks, think two or three steps down the road any time you get mad about something and come up with an easy fix--how will that easy fix go horribly wrong?
