Question on Jyn ability

I like using jyn with zeta vader...and using her aoe to make vader go immediately and use his aoe so the enemy takes dot dmg asap, and there imminent slavo of ability blocks and stun, shock, buff immunity, whatever doesn't stop the dot dmg from ticking away, in fact only making it worse with stun, shock as in most cases vader/jyn will be ready to aoe again after the debuffs are wore off. Only issue i have is when i auto...lol jyn seems to use truncheon strike forst instead of aoe...so we are at an impasse.
