This is an issue that can be solved by guild leadership. Sorry if you find it hard but the right toons can make short work of even the heroic piggies. If you refused to do fight phase 1 in my guild it would only hurt you.
This.. I have missed Phase 1 twice, and those have been my two lowest finishes. :/
Ironic as it is I got two full pieces both time it happened. :o- scuba7510 years agoLegendThe ultimate t5/T6 any phase team

This one above or Teebo Lead instead of Phasma.
Just dps the two guards, use ackbar to remove deathmark. Dispell a taunting guard with QGJ if not yet dead. Slow the main guard with FIves or TM reduction with QGJ Basic and Teebo.ALWAYS try to finish the two guards fast.
At tier 5, you would be a god on your guild if no one does this right now. Then everyone would be copying the same team and attacking at phase 1 instead of waiting it out lol.
Take note that ewoks are good but frankly hard to farm. So go for the easy farm team above."Myshkin333;436171" wrote:
I understand where op is coming from; in the early days of raiding we had a lot of trouble getting people to do phase 1. However I'll echo others in this thread and say with the right team you can do WAY more damage in phase 1 (and phase 4) than in phases 2 and 3. I use Teebo (L), EE, Chirpa, Fives, and QGJ (omega basic). At T5 I can do over 2 million with a single team in phase 1, and pretty close to that in phase 4.
Are you talking about heroic? What do you do to get so much damage in phase 4?"NeonPhyzics;436130" wrote:

Honestly speaking, if you have the right team, pig stage will give you way more damage.
yes, but this is not Call of Duty or Battlefield where you can unlock a viable weapon with attachments in a hour or two of gaming. You are very limited in who you can unlock and level up - so its probably unlikely that you have all the "right toons" - Because the leveling is so extensive and the resources imbalanced, we had to make choices at level 50. if you are in the 70s now, you have to live with with 10-15 toons you have chosen to level up (based on access or choices you made then). The OP is suggesting that since 75% of everyone's roster is the same (Lumi, QGJ, GS, etc) why not make the ability to get damage in the raids balanced for each stage so people hitting 2 and 3 don't out perform people at 1 and 4 with the same characters.
I mean Akbar would be good for stage 1, but I don't have him and to get him to 6* for my guild's raids, I would need 24 days in the Arena...PLUS, all the purple gear. Who is the say that they won't replace the Rancor with something else by then
Such is life. in hindsight you should have picked better toons, too bad."Yudoka;436639" wrote:

Sounds like the issue is more of an "in house" problem for your guild. If you have people that won't use their attacks on the pigs, then the guild leader needs to call out those that habitually show '0' damage on stage 1.
The game currently has very poor system for coordination and reports. The chat system is the absolute minimum and forces players to create outside systems. There's no way to track anything other than physically looking at a certain period of time. It's difficult to set up a schedule raid and communicate that to the members; many people are in various time zones.
I agree with that, but the OP's stated gripe alluded to players who intentionally skip Stage 1, not those that miss it due to scheduling or communication issues.- Good discussion here and dispelling negative effects is certainly the critical point to P1. Everyone hates Ackbar until he outshines every other toon in the current P1 Raid. And say what you want about Teebo but my Omega mats are paying off in dividends.
Personally Ackbar, Ewok Elder and Teebo are the trio most responsible for me hitting 300k plus in damage against pigs in a single battle.
I don't have Ventress yet but have often wondered how good she is at removing pig taunt buffs. Working her up now.
Good luck OP. - P1 is difficult for many simply because of class comp. You can get decent numbers in P2 with almost any team. In P1, if you are not setup well, your numbers will look terrible. However, if you are setup well, you can output more damage in P1 than any other phase.
Rex is unbeatable to dispel deathmark. There's not even a close second. Quigon for offensive dispels, and the only dispels you should be doing are offense up on the captain. If you have to dispel the guards taunt, your dps isn't where it should be. - If you want a cheap high score for phase 1 use what I do... Teebo, Chewie, QGJ (admittedly omega on his 1 ability), GS and Fives. The main pig is perma-slowed and his TM stays at zero. Even when RNG throws you a wobbler he does a deathmark or something which eventually wears off because he is stuck at TM 0 again for ages. Eventually he gets you because you get a string of resists and such, but you will rush to the pig stage in future rather than avoid it.
