I really dont understand players who are trying to convince everyone that rewards from krayt are similar or even better. Why do you choose side against players and why not to have both things? Like choosing rewards and similar rewards like we used to have?
Because, if the overall rewards to a whole guild are better, then I, and others who were better off on the old system, should arguably suck it up for the greater good. If my guild gets more then we'll progress faster together TB and this and future raids, and that's better for every player in the game.
That makes no sense.
You’re happy to take a hit for the team because it pushes progression for everyone, rather than push for the rewards you were getting to be distributed to the entire team, which would push the guild much further?
Why would you do that?
If anything that attitude is holding the guild, the rewards system and the entire player base back.
Because it was never going to be the case that they were going to give everyone in the guild the sorts of rewards that the top 5 or even top 10 were getting. IMO chasing that kind of payout is a fool's errand.
CG set a precedent when they set sim rewards for HPit and HAAT to be the equivalent of 11th place in those raids. To think they would do anything different when they, effectively, put HSTR on sim with players only doing Krayt is naive.
are rank 11 or lower players getting equivalent or better though?
I don’t get why those players are being rewarded when either they haven’t got a developed roster or signed up but not actively played the event.
So the players who actually did all the damage are affectively penalised whilst weakness or inactivity is rewarded.
Doesn’t make sense to me.
In a lot of cases players didn't deliberately miss out on the old raids, they simply weren't able to due to timings in international guilds. In the past I moved guilds because the times weren't convenient for my schedule, but I can understand why someone else might not want to.
Beyond that, they might not have had squads which were ideal for soloing HSTR or specific phases of CPit, but they might be doing more than I in TW or TB. Am I happy that my rewards have dropped? No. Am I willing to make that sacrifice for the whole guild? Yes. We may just have to agree to disagree on this point.
If you're frustrated by inactivity or weakness in your guild members it might be time to consider if your guild is right for you. I'm certain my guildies are working as hard as I am, even if not always in the same guild modes.
