Jesse has anwered this question before. Can't remember in which thread though. His answer was something like "not expensive, but enough to keep every single player from starting a guild".

Yes all he said was it would be credits but now that we are less than a week away... An exact amount would be appreciated before hand so we can have funds ready before they launch. And I am not talking about the day before or just hours before... 3 days should be suffice but a week or two would have been much much better...

Currently, yes, guild organization is 100% outside of the game. After this update, on Sunday night (PST), there will be some level of guild organization within the game. We don't know how much yet, but there is supposed to be a "suggested guilds" within the game for you to join from. I assume a search function and whatnot as well.

Just wondering, when the leader does a Raid, it'll be only for a set difficulty, right? I know that most of my characters would be running at tier 3 and 4, but other people I know would be more in the 5 range. I'm just wondering if there's a way for people at multiple tiers to contribute?

Yeah as a F2P guild leader I'm a little concerned about the payment. Is it going to be like 200 crystals or like 2000? Are allies/guild members going to be able to donate crystals to help pay for this?

The quote that you quoted cited that it would be credits, which would be my guess. I didn't see the post/quote that he's drawing this from, but it makes sense that it would be a credit cost.

Also, I doubt that a donation system will be in place anytime soon, if ever.

This is a good question, but it's difficult to see what this might affect since we don't know really know what, if anything, is currently tied to a time. My guess, though, is that it will not change.
