Re: Buying Data Cards

It def takes a lot of shards. Id say they are going for the long game. Wanting people to play for several years. As to the costs, yes, they do seem to be pretty high. Id drop it down to no more than $10 for basic characters and $15 for premium.

yes, i've mentioned as well earlier on that the shard system is really making things difficult, even for paying players.

as it is... there are so many characters, so a shard that gets dropped could be any of the characters. in terms of % of shards that you want, that makes it even less!

then there's the shard requirements... 65... or even more in higher level. do the calculations and you know how much it can easily cost (even if assuming you are extremely lucky and pull all the shards you want). buying a pack... yes, can be costly for long term. but hey... not to say what... but this is EA. <-- good or bad, depends on how one looks at it and i dun wanna get to that topic/ discussion.

the other way, which i think is cheaper... is to grab the starter pack (supposedly time-limited but it does seem to go on and on like an Energizer bunny -- lolz). its affordable and you get Count Dooku, which i personally think, is under-rated. he's got counter attacks, extra attacks, etc... dem useful. the only bummer is... if you already have him. in which case, it might probably give you shards instead, which isn't that useful.

maybe team EA should consider rotating the guaranteed drops from such package. i'd love to get Barriss. she's really a pain when not on my side!
