Real Subscription Idea
This is my idea of compromise. I thought I'll share with you.
Please do not reply aggresively. Just say whether you would buy it and why?
My idea is a monthly subscription, but with some real value.
You pay:
10$ per month
You get:
100crystal/day.
So it's a bit cheaper than what we are offered.
That's the point, i'm here to cut a deal.
If you subscribe quarter(4 months) you get:
1extra shard/day for each of 2-5 characters you choose during purchase.
2-5 so that we could have are mind open about the exact numbers.
I suggest five, since it will take a year to seen star them.
These characters are drawn from the entire game, except from maybe raid heros and events(yoda, palps, Han and Kenobi).
So it doesnt hurt whales, but casual player might actually enjoy it.
Real opportunity to get a favourite character, after months of dedication.
I emphasize this: it's a long term but healthy benefit.
The MINDSET behind my proposition is every MMO ever.
Subscriptions in WoW allows you to play, but mobile games are past beyond greedy.
That's why let us take for instance SW:ToR.
Subscription there gives you extra value, but the most importantly you really feel "premium" while supporting developers in reasonable way.
My idea is to give back subscription it's real purpose, while satisfying the insatiable thirst of publisher for our hard earned blood.
If you have a better idea for subscription format, please contribute.
To clarify I paid a total of 100$ on whichever I thought was best value, but the truth is if you want to spend as little as that there is no point in doing so.
I think if you could create a full 5 men rooster of your all time favourite characters is fair to ask if you will pay 120$ over the course of a year.
Or maybe you would like it to be a sustainable amount of tier ix+ gear to suit your needs? It's the point of this thread.
