If a window popped up in the game offering you 1000 crystals you'd take it. If 24 hours later you were banned from the game that wouldnt seem fair. Of course they shouldnt be banned.

Even if they consciously knew that it was a bug, it was the devs fault or the fault of the game so reversing it is exactly and the only thing that should be done.
