Reliable content update sources

Question

With all the speculating going on as to what February has to offer I am concerned as to what to expect. Last month when Finn and Poe became login characters players were all the rage about claiming these characters would be needed for something big. The end result...nope. rumors of Revan coming have been trashed even though people are content he's coming anyway and then there's plagueis. A character only briefly mentioned in a film with no actual screen time and a novel that is no longer canon I can only guarantee he isn't coming to this game. Speculation only hurts this game because people expect too much when given only vague information regarding new content releases and then get mad when they come to find that all the hype was for nothing. My main concern is knowing if there is any place I can go (specific youtube channels would help) to see any updates coming soon or knowing how to contact devs regarding unfinished content already in the game.

Don't confuse a few lunatic trolls shouting into the void with the majority of players being furiously angry due to unmet expectations. Speculation is fun. It keeps people engaged.

And if it isn't said by one of the devs, or by one of the game changers then disregard it.

I'm not sure what you expect, are you thinking someone out there has the real full story?

All we ever get are bits and pieces, people put things together as best they can.

Any YouTube with real information releases it when they are told to, and you can check those out in the Art and Media sub forum.

Speculation is fun and engaging, the damaged comes from believing too much and devoting resources to it.

I think official forum should be the first place for players to get recent information. It's weird in this game we mostly get first information from outside source.

There’s always rulors flying around and just like everything else one of those rumors is usually right.

People will find a way to connect everything to Revan or Jango because they’re highly requested and it would generate a lot of hype.

But you will also always be able to go back and see the few people that were right about stuff, vets for heroes journey, phoenix rework, Talzin, rose and holdo, CLS coming back all were predicted from hints and deductive reasoning. But sometimes there just isn’t a way to be prepared like no one guessed NS zombie and spirit, no one guess Thrawns capital ship, and now that the leakers have been cut off from info there will be next to no guessing of anything to come. Everything is speculation, prepare the best you can but don’t be mad if it isn’t true.
