Relic Delta Feedback Again

We've lost 10 in the guild since this announcement on RD, nearly all of us officers have decided to stop spending. I treat the game a bit like a collectable card game now, zero engagement in 3x3 as it's just a pile of doodah. And tbh I hardly play 5x5. ROTE an TW are about it but TWs probably gonna go down the pan now too. Shame thoughly enjoyed playing until this constant need to buy stuff started, I'm sure I'm not the only one who can ill afford the waste of real cash on a game that has become way too greedy for something supposed to be casual.

"Punch-ups are dead. Give us more money if you want to win." 

It's all the worse because of CG's crap GAC matchmaking, I am almost always needing punch up against accounts 50– 100% bigger than mine with far more relics. RIP omi Traya and Savage, and probably Wampa too.

Really well said. For those of us who aren't whales, punching up really is the fun of the game. CG wants to make it outright impossible unless you are very close in relics. 

Solidarity in the community is how we make our voices heard on this. I haven't spent since the initial announcement came and I don't intend to start until there's give on this. If this releases as it is now. I plan to not log into the game until it's changed. If enough of us commit to this, they'll have to listen. But enough of us need to actually do it. 

They're probably referring to the latest round of revisions of the numbers involved in RD, and the very existence of RD is taken to mean that CG want to stop punch ups and off-meta counters, when the latest numbers suggest, at worst, that CG want people to move toward a Relic 7 baseline roster. And it's not like going in with a huge relic disadvantage is extremely common now, except some mega hard counters or matchups involving OP dcrons. 

It's just the usual doomerism. 

Hypothetical situation (actually not really hypothetical as it will happen).  I'm facing a.......Jabba team in GAC 5v5.  I lose the battle but just leave Jabba and Krssti..  Krss...Krst... the wookie.  I now take my relic 3 OG Imp Troopers in for a clean up.  (Paraphrasing CG after RD V4)  "You're not supposed to win that!"   That's just not right.

It's not a strategy game anymore, the CG team are either devoid or talent now, or higher ups have decided to make it pay to win. I'll be surprised if the player base isn't dramatically reduced, I know none of my mates have played it since the last major update...
