Remeber the good old days?

When new characters were just thrown in without fanfare? They were instantly farmable. If you wanted them, you could get them. No silly events or tournaments or anything.

I get that "big deal" characters deserve a little more, but if they're just some nameless or unimportant toon (scarif, bistan, shoretrooper, deathtrooper, etc) do they really need that kind of hype?

Also, with events, there's always some period of time afterward we have to wait for them to be farmable (or even available).
