Nevermind that as phones and tablets get bigger, the amount of columns will change. What's an even number today won't necessarily be tomorrow.
Moreover, nevermind that they explicitly said they weren't going to add any more items to those stores so that people would feel free to spend their surpluses without fear of missing out. Can't see there being any uproar if they suddenly put a couple characters in those stores when people have zero'd out their stockpiles...
