Requirements to unlock the Chimera

These games have become nothing more than down right gambling with EA and CG praying on people's addiction. Pretty disgusting.

This is incorrect. You still can wait and get the Home One shards every month, then 7 stars it, then do the Chimera event.
F2P still can get it.

And overall, if this is really a new meta, then this is the right way to do things. Look at CLS, it was too easy to get it, too cheap, and then now just every team in Arena has it. It is right that CG creates a gap between whales and others...because some are paying real money and some dont (or not much). You cant have it all at once for free ...lol

I’ve been farming Phantom for a while and still haven’t even unlocked it. Double drops are great, but 2x0=0.

No they didn't. They introduced an event that's the same as all the other events they've introduced prior: If you're free to play, you'll get it the second time it comes around.

He was definitely a raging anti-semite and that needs to be acknowledged. But it needs to be acknowledged alongside the positive things he did as well. People are complex and are capable of doing both good and bad at the same time.

Sure there’s The aspect of money. Sure if you want to spend $1000 you can get it 7*, but this is a business... everyone forgets that. Whales keep this thing running and therefore need and deserve an incentive.

I think I’m behind but I definitely haven’t touched Phoenix ships... I’ll bbe lucky to get thrawns ship at 5*, so what’s the rush? Also you need cassian and or Bistan. How many of you have them at 7* already that aren’t whales?

This is far less **** than the 7* requirements for CLS, which most of us competed anyway.

Has no one looked and seen that the Home One event is listed as coming back on Monday? And it's not like the Chimera event will never come back. Take a deep breath and enjoy the free game.

There've been some recent moves by CG that were bad, but this isn't one. Even if it took six months to F2P Home One, so what? How is it different than hard-node-only toons that whales can max in a day or two? Or gearing GK? Or anything else in this game?

I have just acquired Chimaera at 6* (I am not paying for 7) with : Ghost 7 Phantom 7 Wedge 7 Biggs 7 Bistan 6
Pretty easy ... just need to resist to the AOE and be RNG lucky on the anihilation (he took out my Bistan who was almost dead. Very powerful ship 29k at lv65

Well I've gone as far as I can right now, 4*. I'm hoping over the next 6 days to get the ships a lot in fleet because I kept forgetting to farm them in the nodes. xD If I don't unlock it, oh well. If I do, I'll probably be too busy trying to get my other command ships to 6* to bother with Chimera right now. xD

Got an important question.... How often is Bistan in TB shipments? I am at 23/85 right now. I am sure I cannot pull it out with fleet shipments alone. But can I with TB?..
