Resetting Timezone

I've started playing this game while I was in overseas and now that I'm back to my living place, I've requested EA to adjust my time setting accordingly via Contact Us page. However, this is what I got for reply:

I am _______ I'm a game adviser at EA World Wide Customer Experience team.

I reviewed your help ticket where you want to change your Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes game account time zone as have setup the game account while you were travelling but now you are back to your Home town and not receiving rewards on the correct time.

I'm afraid. I'm sorry to say but resetting your game account time zone is something which is not possible for us to do. We are not equipped with a option in our system here that can help us to change your game account time zone.

I would really wish I could have this ability here I would have surely done it for you.

I hope you can understand this. I apologize for the inconvenience.


Did anyone here managed to change their timezone settings? It sounds really ridiculous to be true that they "are not equipped with a option to change account time zone". I mean EA is a really huge and established company and they never occurred to be prepared to handle such simple task? Really? :|

    Yeah it sucks. They should tel you when signing up how important the time zone setting on you phone is.

    It's so frustrating to have to be on my phone during dinner time for Arena! And I'll miss the last bonus energy reward if I have to sleep early on that day. It's ruining the whole game experience for me.
