Returning player. What to do?
Came back to check it out and now there's mods, a new level cap, ships, new events, etc. Where do I start? I have like 10k crystals from before and a really solid roster. How should I go about util...

Change your underwear after you soil yourself.
Make sure you have enough Rebels to unlock Emperor Palpatine.
Make sure you have enough scoundrels/bounty hunters for the credit heist.
Lots of options for arena these days.
Rebels, Jedi, Empire, Sith. Pick your poison really. (I went Bounty Hunter but I'm a glutton for punishment).
Ships are a little more simple.
You need 5 DS ships 4* or higher to unlock Zeta challenge.
5-6 light side ships for Mace and Ackbars challenges so pick a few of each and start farming. They take a while. Especially ships like Scimitar, Slave I, and Rex's ARC so don't neglect those of you intend to use them.
