People would still just sim it and use the GW tokens to buy ship shards to generate SSC.
True, and I know someone's going to come along with a "we have enough content already" spiel, but it would be nice as the only scaleable battles we really have for the mid to late game players are the GCs, and the modifiers can sometimes make them not fun to use for fun - also, the way they're staggered means there's not always one available at a given point in time.
