Rework Vader to be comparable to CLS

Wars aren't won by small groups of epic heroes going on grand adventures. They're won by the sacrifice of thousands of nameless side characters.

how about balanced game design modeled after chess instead of a game of checkers like is now? I would happily trade DNs annihilate for a palpatine zeta, but when you add up all the powers and all the facts, if you do not see the mass Rebel infatuation, you need to see a physician.

This is so true. I thought the CG devs said they understood players were sick of rebels? Then they go and release the most outrageously inaccurate and OP rebel toon in the game.

The power CLS has is laughable. In the Star Wars universe, CLS got dominated by Vader. So CG decides to rewrite canon and make him the best toon in the game.

CLS is more powerful than:

Darth Sidious/Emporer Palpatine - ya know, the guy who completely destroyed the Jedi and created a galactic empire that instilled fear and dished out destruction for decades.

Vader - ya know, the guy who destroyed the Jedi temple and hunted down and killed almost all of the remaining Jedi in the galaxy.

Nihilus - eats entire planets for lunch....

Soooo......yeah....good job CG.

Don't forget how he's also more powerful, by a significant margin, than literally every single Jedi Council member, excluding Kenobi (although that's up for debate). That does, however, include Yoda, the guy that went on to TRAIN LUKE MORE AFTER HE LOST, TERRIBLY, TO VADER.

Now, don't get me wrong, I like Luke. He had a great character arc over the original trilogy and he's wasn't a pushover when he first duelled Vader, but he was nowhere near the power of Vader, EP, Yoda, GK, etc.

I also don't think that character balancing should be based entirely around their in-movie capabilities, but having Luke be so obscenely good is just too much.

It's enough to make you question the fandom of the devs. CLS should be a middle tier player, not a dominant rare toon. Jedi Master Luke sure...but CLS shouldn't be anywhere near as powerful as Vader, let alone tower over him.

That's actually a hugely awesome idea. Effectively a zeta level upgrade that you have to win through an event. I'd be happy if this event was tied to gear 12 in some way too.
