- KDC99-X3 years agoSeasoned AceRNG problems can usually be fixed by one (or all) of the following 3 steps:
1) More gear/relic levels
2) Better mods/modding
3) Better team comps/deeper understanding of kit mechanics - wharp953 years agoSeasoned Veteran

NO, RNG cannot be fixed by what your are wrote but, I think you mean, that bad outcome can be limited by these and I agree - KDC99-X3 years agoSeasoned AceI mean, that’s really just semantics, but ok. If you make the RNG irrelevant (or nearly irrelevant) to the desired outcome by taking the steps outlined, you are essentially “fixing” the problem, which is the bad outcomes you want to avoid.
Example: trying to complete C3PO event at minimum gear Ewoks, is highly RNG dependent and could take hundreds of attempts to get good RNG and win. Take your Ewoks up enough gear levels and slap your best mods on them, suddenly the RNG is now irrelevant to the outcome.
Edit: typo "wharp;c-2407126" wrote:

Even if fix is a bit strong, all those have rng mitigating qualities effecting crit chance, hit chance, landing avoiding debuffs etc.- wharp953 years agoSeasoned Veteran

Not just semantics, RNG is tunned out to make you replays and add a grain of salt, even if it is nearly irrelevant.
When bad outcomes take you for a couple of days, it is really annoying (ship battles), for days everything is fine then, like a truck, the RNG run over you and remind you how RNG mechanics is stupid.
Yeah, I am talking about ship battle and with R5+ crews and 5*-6* mods
And yeah when you can improve a lot your gear, RNG is irrelevent, because it is like using a nuke to kill 1 mosquito "wharp;d-261869" wrote:

What all RNG or are you having a particular problem?- wharp953 years agoSeasoned Veteran

Most of RNG mechanics, I hate RNG in general, I do understand that you have to get the right counter, the right strategy, .... - KDC99-X3 years agoSeasoned AceThat’s why I said “usually” — it doesn’t “fix” everything, but it can fix a lot of things. But yes at a certain point your closing analogy is entirely accurate. ?
Sounds like you had a ships counter go south in GAC costing you a matchup?"wharp;c-2407130" wrote:

Exactly, ship battle in GAC
But bad RNG also happen in fleet arena sometimes - KDC99-X3 years agoSeasoned AceMy condolences, I know that’s frustrating.. always feels terrible when you don’t get that critical dodge or assist, and it costs you the battle!
