Road Ahead 2024

I don't think players should be expected to go to a third party discord (they may not know about) to maybe get questions answered from a CM. They (the CMs and dev team) should utilize the official forums more or create their own official discord similar to the HoME discord.

I think the last anyone heard about an RA was when Meat said we weren't getting one at the end of 2023. He specifically said "this year" not "we aren't doing those" so I expect we'll get one soon:tm:

Eh i think it’s fine for them not to have an official discord

discord is not an official channel for news or information but a place for CG to chat with players but due to the “real time” nature of conversation it’s easier to ask there, and people like to ask, so some information is easily obtained from there

but all the information is stuff that doesn’t need an official announcement like

“When is the RA coming?”

versus posting the RA itself

I think they give us to much information as is. Going forward I want the conquest character to be a surprise. No more telling us who it is until after the 3rd series is over.

Also, I read somewhere that the next GL will be a ship and it's going to Red 5.

The odds of getting an dev to answer this here are super low. Your best bet would be to ask Meathead on events (when he's there and chatting) and even then the best you can probably hope for is "I'll check with the team." You might get more, but unlikely.

In the meantime, people will continue to discuss the RA, because it's on-topic and how forums work.
