I played someone yesterday who only set 2 teams in defence out of the 4 and still won. They a miles lower GP and 1 less GL (he had 2 to my 3) one of which was set in their defence. The bit I was more confused at, was the points I received for them not setting 2 out of the 4 available in defence. I got 138 points? for them not setting defence. Is this normal? My maths isn’t brilliant and I’m not to sure what the max number of points is, but I would’ve of got more points if they had put OR and Geo’s for me to use Nest and Kylo Solo.My point being is, you should get max points if they choose or can’t be bothered to a set defence.

It doesn’t really matter how creative you get in being wrong, you are still wrong. You have already gotten the correct answer above so you can stop being confused now.

One person is saying the max points in 69 yet I’ve just got 79? If someone’s answered the question with 69, it’s wrong. My opponent could of played his worse team to fill up his slot. I could of used one toon to take out his team and got Max points (79). Not sure how you can disagree. I’ve even sent a screen shot. Thought my maths were bad but anyone saying 69 is higher than 79, needs to review their to.

I have verified it with a screen shot. All I want to clear is up is that 69 is NOT the maximum points you can achieve like it’s being suggested.

Based on what you are saying the MAX total should be 79 for the first fight and 69 for the rest?

In my scenario, the guy only set 2/4 defences. So, I’m I not right in saying that I should of got 79 + 69 = 148?

Not 69 + 69 = 138

There nothing stopping my opponent putting out 11/11 crap teams (not including ships). If they did I have the opportunity to solo’d them all and the max points would be more than 11 x 69 points. It would be more like 11 x 79 points?

I now understand the way it scores, but it still isn’t fair in the way it scores when they don’t set a defence. I’m aware of the rules. I just disagree with them. I’m basically saying penalise the people who don’t set a defence with the real max points. 79. The maximum amount achievable if solo’d.

Leave it. There’s a lot of different answers for the same question. Salas says the max points is 69. We can all agree that the max point is either 79 or 89. Not 69. 69 is the max points you get for winning after your first go (providing its perfect). The Max points is 89. 79 for your first go plus 10 = 89.

In my scenario the score for not setting defence should of been 158 (79+10+69).

I got 69+69 =138.

because I didn’t have that opportunity to attack and solo them because they could t be bothered setting a defence, I only got 69. Fair?

Why would you get the +10 bonus for your first attack, if you didn't attack yet?
