Supposedly the division of ships into starting fleet and reinforcement squadron makes the creation of load outs problematic.
My proposal is simple: create "starting fleet loadouts" and "reinforcement squadron loadouts" and if we have to load 2 things instead of 8, that's still a significant improvement in QoL. (You would also have to scroll through fewer things to get your things and you would also never have the problem of CapShip/StartingFleet mismatch.)
Is it everything we would like? No.
Does it completely sidestep the problem CG said was the issue in creating ship loadouts? Yes.
I say do it.
