Still not getting the hate. The only legit complaint I'm hearing is that of RNG, and I'm not personally seeing it. I think it's about the same as before, or maybe even less dependent on RNG. There's a bigger emphasis on starting line-up strategy and reinforcement strategy.
As for auto-ing it to avoid RNG, I am much more successful doing the battles manually. I don't know, maybe some ship line-ups are more RNG than others....
