So CG comes out with Punishing One. They claim its killing Leviathan, so they buff Dagger to stop it. While doing that they kill all counters we used to use and now turned Leviathan into a coinflip....

You're mad because you likely spent a lot of money and you feel that since you spent that money you should win forever. Get over it that's not how it works.
Players are rightly mad because the impact of one marquee ship and subsequent manipulation of kits has messed up several fleets indirectly nerfing them. This annoys FTP and P2P, does not matter if investment is time or money it’s still been nullified in the worst way possible. It makes more sense to alter meta with new ship releases not by altering existing kits.

People are mad because CG “stealth” (and I use quotes because it wasn’t subtle at all) nerfs the Chimera counter vs Levi under the guise of fixing THEIR poor testing of P1 against Levi. With that same “fix” it also broke Sythe’s kit so even the Executrix comps aren’t working since Tie Fighter isn’t getting marked properly. Then CG goes radio silent after a clearly negative move. So no, it’s not a matter of spending. It’s a matter of CG intentionally devaluing player investment across multiple characters and fleets and turning ships into a luck of a coin flip in FA and GAC. Nice try though

No, we're mad because until this new GL, the meta ship had the steepest requirements in the game, and was a massive investment of time and resources. I'll personally be completely fine losing like this when they release something even close to as difficult to get that wins. Not a free ship that you don't even really have to put any time, effort, or investment into (to play devil's advocate, you DO need the third best meta cap ship).

Gotta agree with you here. Folks whining like there aren't counters already. It came and made a difference for a few days and all I've seen is people now have counters and work arounds. Folks that haven't learned by now either need to watch counter vids or maybe, just maybe, build up their fleets.
