Ships turn order - what determines it ?!

Can anyone tell me what the hell determines the turn order in fleet battles when 2 ships have the same speed... 2 Sith Fighters with the same speed (mine with 60 GP more than the enemy) and 1 out of 10 times (so far) i take the first turn !?

Same speed and no TM mechanics at play, coin flip.
  • Sadly it's a coin toss. If both ships have the same speed, then you have a 50/50 chance of going first.

    1/10 doesn't sound like 50/50
oh well... with all the crap that is going on right now i guess an unlucky coin flip is better than nothing
EDIT: make that 1/15 ... absolutely retarded game

That’s not how coinflips or rather probability works.

Just because the possible outcome each time is 1 of 2 outcomes, it doesn’t mean there is an equal probability each will occur, and previous flips have no impact on the probability of the next.

The issue is your lack of understanding as to how probability works.
