Ships turn order - what determines it ?!

Same speed and no TM mechanics at play, coin flip.

Sadly it's a coin toss. If both ships have the same speed, then you have a 50/50 chance of going first.

That’s not how coinflips or rather probability works.

Just because the possible outcome each time is 1 of 2 outcomes, it doesn’t mean there is an equal probability each will occur, and previous flips have no impact on the probability of the next.

The issue is your lack of understanding as to how probability works.
