No. It would either just add more rounds, or would eliminate players early. The system already in place does implement repechage already, but it doesn't determine an exact ranking: losing doesn't eliminate you from the tournament, it just places you in a bracket vs others who lost once. You can no longer compete for the #1 spot, but if you win the next 2 matches, will end 2-4. Even losing 2 matches doesn't eliminate you as there is the losers final, which still allows you to get a 5-7 finish.
